Training & Discipleship. The South Coast Bible School (SCBS)
CfC TRAINING IS:
- Bible based
- Foundational to Christian Living
- Practical to enable and equip for ministry
A “practical training for ministry” curriculum, taken to the local church and administered by the local church. The training is presented in a seminar format done either by the staff of CfC or through partnerships with other churches or organisations.
A curriculum of 36 subjects taught by suitably qualified teachers, running for 5 consecutive days once every quarter. A non-accredited certificate in Pastoral ministry is awarded on completion. During the class time students reside on the Silver Oaks property. The nominal fee includes accommodation, meals and study notes.
In partnership with SATS (South African Theological Seminary), CfC helps to facilitate (not teach) the accredited theological education curriculum to those wishing to pursue higher education. (Click here to learn more about SATS.) Our desire is to assist those who are less privileged yet have a desire and ability to study at this level.
CfC hold seminars to address the needs of God’s church. Keep your eye on the Calendar of Events for the next seminar.
CfC are committed to challenge God’s Church to a renewed commitment to the Lord Jesus and to a growing vibrant relationship with Jesus and His Church. Staff is available to conduct such “deeper life” teachings on invitation.
CfC has a theological library of thousands of books to assist students in their studies. Pastors are also welcome to use these facilities.
The SCBS curriculum (secondary level) are also used by Bethany School of Missions (Tongaat); Zululand School of Missions (Emphangeni); Lubombo School of Missions (Swaziland) as well as Light of the Word School of Missions (Tylden).
Churches that wished to partner in the above mentioned curriculum can contact CfC Ministries.
