Meet Our Ministry Team

At CfC Ministries, we believe that ministry is best done together. We seek to serve God’s vision and purpose by bringing together people who are committed followers of Christ, gifted to serve, and passionate about building up His Church. Our ministry staff are encouraged to be actively involved in a local church and to build strong, healthy relationships within their church community. Each staff member is supported and sent by their home church as they serve with CfC. Unity is at the heart of how we work together. Through regular staff meetings, prayer, fellowship and shared ministry, we seek to encourage one another and serve as a team.

George & Cecile Sander

Director & SCBS

George and Cecile have a heart for missions, discipleship and seeing people equipped to serve God. Since sensing God’s call to missions in their younger years, they have served in Lesotho, Madagascar, South Africa and Mauritius in a variety of missionary, pastoral and teaching roles.

They joined the CfC ministry team in 2015, where George serves as Ministry Director and Bible School Principal and lecturer. He also enjoys preaching in local churches and facilitating pastors’ conferences, alumni gatherings and marriage retreats.

Cecile plays an important role behind the scenes, supporting the Bible School and CfC conferences through catering and hospitality. She also shares her skills by teaching Food Technology through the Skills4Life programme, which she and George helped launch in 2016.

Together, George and Cecile are passionate about equipping God’s people for the work of ministry and helping others grow in their faith and practical skills. Their desire is to see everything they do bring glory to God and strengthen His Church.

Jeff and Heather Nell

Silver Oaks Retreat & Maintenance

Jeff and Heather have a heart for serving God, supporting the local church and following His leading. After growing up in Johannesburg and spending most of their lives there, they moved to the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast with their three daughters in 2024.

They soon sensed God leading them to serve full-time with CfC Ministries. In August 2025, they moved onto the CfC property and began serving as part of the ministry team.

Jeff serves as Maintenance and Retreat Manager, helping care for the property and ensuring that Silver Oaks is ready to welcome churches, groups and guests. He has also begun theological studies as part of his desire to grow and serve more effectively in ministry.

Heather homeschools their three daughters and supports the ministry in practical ways, including cooking, graphic design, newsletters and social media. Together, they enjoy serving the church community and making the most of life outdoors, with the whole family involved in lifesaving and Ultimate Frisbee.

Their desire is to serve faithfully, use the gifts God has given them, and remain open to where He leads them.

Kevin & Donné

Skills 4 Life

Kevin and Donné answered God’s call to join CfC Ministries in May 2022, bringing with them a heart for serving God and His people. Having previously lived and worked in Johannesburg, they felt led to return to the South Coast, where they are now raising their three daughters, Kate, Hayley and Emma.

Kevin brings his experience in operations and management to the ministry and heads up the Skills4Life programme, helping equip people with practical skills and opportunities that can make a difference in their lives and communities. Donné holds a Counselling Degree through UNISA and has a passion for serving through worship and encouraging others.

Together, they have a heart for cross-cultural ministry and seeing God’s people work together to shine the light of Christ into the community. They are passionate about serving wherever God leads and helping people grow in faith, develop practical skills and serve alongside one another.
