In Jeremiah 4:22 we read “My people are fools; they do not know me. They are senseless children; they have no understanding. They are skilled in doing evil; they know not how to do good.”
Isn’t this a shocking statement? Perhaps it is because it speaks about “My people”. The words used by God are strong, but it exposes the very tragedy of the Church, especially in Africa. So many people profess to be God’s people but they do not know Jesus.
